Flags for Heroes

Flags for Heroes is a celebration of the people who inspire us with their courage and patriotism. We honor our heroes from military service, first responders and all others who support and serve us. Individual and corporate sponsorship supports the Kent Island Rotary Club installation of flags at multiple locations on Route 50. Each flag is 3 feet x 5 feet displayed on a 10 foot flag pole. They will be displayed for several weeks around Memorial Day. These beautiful flags will be a visual reminder to the vacationers traveling over the Memorial Day holiday to remember the many who serve us.

Flags for Heroes is also a fund raising opportunity for Rotary of Kent Island to support our many community activities. While our members and other volunteers work hard to serve the community, your financial support goes a long way towards helping the disadvantaged and making it a better place for all of us.
