On Tuesday, October 8, 2019, the Mid-Shore Community Foundation, in partnership with the Caroline County Chamber of Commerce, will present a grant writing workshop for nonprofits in Caroline County. The session will begin at 10:00 AM at the Chesapeake Culinary Center, 512 Franklin Street, Denton, MD 21629. Kathy Bosin, an award-winning nonprofit leader and Licensed Consultant from the Standards for Excellence® Institute, will facilitate the session. Kathy is a representative of Dock Street Foundation, a family foundation in Talbot County that supports health, kids, the arts, education, and the environment. She has been very successful in writing grant proposals for a wide variety of nonprofits. Her motto is, "It's not the grant writer that wins grant awards - excellent programs earn grant funding." Space is limited and advance registration is required. Your $10 registration fee is a donation to the MSCF Fund for Caroline County which provides discretionary grants targeting the needs of Caroline County. Our Caroline County Advisory Council will convene at the Culinary Center at noon. You are invited to stay for that lunch meeting or take a packaged lunch to go.
