Take advantage of this opportunity to learn about effective nonprofit excellence while networking with colleagues from across Dorchester County! The Dorchester Chamber of Commerce and the Dorchester County Local Management Board, in partnership with the Mid-Shore Community Foundation, are presenting a series of training sessions for nonprofit executive staff and board members in Dorchester County.

Nonprofit leaders will learn how to build effective and sustainable organizations through a series of dynamic and experiential workshops, led by award-winning nonprofit leader Rob Levit. Participants will explore mission-critical topics like Program Design and Evaluation, Board Development and Engagement, Fundraising from Mission and Effective Leadership Practices. Participants will leave with practical strategies to implement in their organizations. Participants that attend all five sessions will receive a Certificate of Completion.

The Dorchester County Nonprofit Leadership Series will consist of 5 sessions: 04/09, 04/23, 05/14, 06/04 and 06/11. All 5 sessions will be held at the Chesapeake College Cambridge Center, 416-418 Race Street, Cambridge, Maryland. Each session will begin at 8:30am and end at 12:30pm. The series is funded by the Dorchester County Local Management Board and there is no cost to attend. Advance Registration is required.
